Yes, “the boys” are back at the Humane Society of Hamilton County.  I was happy to see Midas in their photos of adoptable cats.  We will post something if hear about them being adopted.

Hemi has been interesting to watch during this whole thing and after about 2 weeks his patience had run out and he was actively batting back if either kitten attacked his tail or got near his food.  The funny thing was every morning he was up running to their room.  I thought it might be because he had started to like having them around… it was he liked having kitten food around. so once he realized that the food bowl was empty he’d head out.

Hemi is known for his purr… that’s why they named him “Hemi” in the first place- he has a loud motor.  For the past two weeks he has been virtually silent.  When I came home the day Sue took the kittens back he plopped on my lap and started purring and stayed like that until Sue got home. hmmm… maybe it’s Sue.

As for the tardiness of today’s strip (which yes, should be Wednesday’s strip) I’ve been a bit overwhelmed.  I know I could have posted pages from 24 Comic Day, but I really wanted to finish out this story.

Another bit of comic news-  I have started publishing some of my comics in FTF Geocacher Magazine.  When they asked I couldn’t say “no.”  For a bit they will be reprints of some of the geocaching related strips from here, but my hope is to create a few just for publication, then again I would like to just get back to being somewhat on time around here.

Did you hear that?
