Well, for the record we did end up with a “snow day” here in Indiana.  Actually it was because the roads were covered in a nice layer of ice.  I tried to go out for a second to see about the conditions and the snow in our yard had enough of an ice coating to support my weight.  We haven’t tried to oven the garage but from the the outside it looks like I might need a pick axe to chip away the ice between the edge of the door & the driveway.

With everything going on, I can’t say I’m complaining about this.  We have two make up days built into our school calendar so all I’m giving up right now is a couple of non-holiday three day weekends in the Spring.  It has been nice to just sit back & get caught up, still have lots to do, but listening to the sounds outside I might have another day to get it done.

I hope everyone stays safe & warm (especially the folks in warmer climates- wouldn’t want you to get too sunburned).

    I made it to the police station, we’re only handling hi-priority calls & doubling up in SUVs. Then after I get to plow parent’s house {they are a cruise, grrr}, my own & some elderly neighbors.

    Does Gramboli’s deliver??

      I’m now waiting to see if they have cleared away enough ice on the parking lots & sidewalks to have school tomorrow. Gramboli’s does deliver… but you might be a bit far, even for them.
