So basically, Tuesday stuff was coming coming down: freezing rain, sleet, etc.  Wednesday all the stuff that had come down froze solid making travel difficult.  Thursday, main streets seemed to be OK, it’s the streets going through neighborhoods that are still messy.  I have about 2 inches of solid ice on the driveway.  I do hope everyone who had to deal with this storm stayed safe and only had to endure a few calls & Facebook posts from friends & family in warmer climates asking about weather.  Wednesday night while watching the news I said to Sue “My parents will call again tonight”  and just as the news finished (around 10:00PM Indiana time) the phone rings…

SO Thursday brought another call… There have been some issues with getting the parking lots & sidewalks clear and today (Friday) brings hopefully the last snow day of the school year.  Complaining? No way.  I’d much rather have my kids safe than risk it just to get them to school.  Cecil just needs to get Phil’s magic to start enough so I might see what my driveway looks like & I can remember who is in my class!
