If you haven’t heard a funny little comic strip about a boy and his stuffed tiger started on this date 30 years ago. I thank the many people who have posting about this anniversary for the inspiration.
I once had an opportunity to see a Bill Watterson retrospective at the Billy Ireland Museum on Columbus, OH. I may have said something about the experience sometime, but as Sue can attest I was in awe of what I saw there. I felt almost the same way when visiting the Schulz Museum. These are artists I look up to… OK wait… Let me put it to you in another way. You know that football jersey that you spent a boatload of money on? Imagine how you would feel if you could spend an hour or two with that guy. Just sit down, have a beer, and talk football. That’s kind of how I felt, but with less sports and more drawings.
“Let’s go exploring!”
