Yes, it is Tuesday… Yes, this is My Geek Odyssey… so Wha? Huh?  Here is what I’m trying out for the next few weeks to see how it plays out.  I’m going to try to do the strip DAILY (Monday through Friday) Who knows?  The experiment might be a failure, but I need to try.

As for “Hemi” Sue has been dealing with “Scruffy” the cat living in the abandoned house across the street and had decided to capture it and take it to the Humane Society… That plan quickly was changed when she discovered just how quick and skittish “Scruffy” was.  So there is still a call out to the professionals to pick him up and make sure he is safe (since we would make the Keystone Cops look professional).  In the meantime Sue got to know the Hamilton County Humane Society and they put out a call for people to foster some of their cats.  It seems that an upper respiratory infection has been going around (I know I had something over the weekend) so the only way to insure that the cats get healthy is to give them a place to rest for about two weeks.  SO on Sunday we headed over to see if we could foster a cat.  It IS Summer and I have nothing to keep my occupied.  Hence Hemi is now staying with us.

Hemi moving off the perch I set up in my studio so he could watch the world go by.

As I type this he  is staring out the window of my studio watching the world go by.  He is a long haired cat that had to be shaved due to severely matted fur so he looks a little “goofy” right now which kind of fits.  We will see what happens at the end of the two weeks, but I have already been warned that it might stretch out a bit… I can see why.

Right now I would check out your local Humane Society and see if there is any way you could help them out… just check with your global domination obsessed monkey first, or it could get ugly.

A Cat?!?
