Well we have discovered a few interesting things these past two weeks… First an older cat is a great opportunity to add something to your life.  I feel really bad but since we picked up Hemi I haven’t been on Facebook as much instead I’ve been petting the cat and relaxing.

Secondly, Sue and I discovered that as our house has settled over the years the door to our bedroom doesn’t close enough to lock.  So an adult cat can push it open.  Four pillows blocking it helps- but…

Third and finally, While my allergies are nowhere as bad as I expected… Sue’s are worse than we anticipated.  I remember when she first started working at her present job, they have an office cat (which kind of started this whole thing off about a year ago) and she was miserable for  a long time.  Now she has no place to escape her allergies.
