I have noticed a trend in television- the after the show show.  Some are on the Internet but many are on TV.  Shows like “The Deadliest Catch” have “After the Catch.”  “The Walking Dead” has “The Talking Dead” it’s television’s way to keep the audience from changing channels and to add a sense of “DVD Extras” to the experience.   The director’s commentary, short deleted clips, behind the scenes on how things are done.  Some are Live (The Talking Dead) which means it doesn’t start until the west coast has seen the episode.  This allows for a call-in, interactive show with the fans.  These are cheap & easy to produce.  I kind of think these little blog posts do the same thing, but not with a fancy set and host to moderate.  So I decided to try one since this arc has been going on for so long (the first bits of this arc started in October).  My reward to you is “After the Odyssey.”

I’m guessing that San Diego Comic-Con will end up with a few of these shows being done after a screening.  Special (wait in a three day line) ticket to be part of the audience so consider yourself lucky- no waiting and your comments can serve as the “interactive part”

  1. Is the host a Ryan Seacrest/Chris Hardwick knock-off? Nicely done. 🙂
