I’m trying to remember what it was like to wash a big car… As a kid I remember washing and detailing a 1976 Stingray almost every weekend, spending hours making sure it was perfect. My 1981 Mustang, I didn’t care for with as much zeal. Now I wash a Mini and take half the time I did on other cars, and do twice the job… but then again, I do tend to miss a spot and never notice until I’m showing someone the car. Tink has been professionally detailed once, and I’m still working off that so most of my cleaning is just a quick wash and spraying speedshine (basically detailer’s duct tape). Then I’ll come back later and check over to see what I missed.
