Interesting trip… As I have commented before Sue & I travel differently than other members of my family.  I decided not to include the elephant carrying the luggage onto the plane as I had originally planned. I still am confused as to how on a trip to a place you have been to multiple times before how you end up needing to ship luggage back.  Then again I don’t understand needing the number or size of bags that some family members had.  I do think that while it was wonderful it ended up with too much family… you might know it as that feeling that if your sister in-law texts you one more time you’ll toss her iPhone into the ocean after crushing it with a coconut.

While I could not understand why people needed to carry so much luggage on vacation… I always teach my cartooning students that you have to be willing (if not wanting) to make fun of yourself before you make fun of anyone.  One thing I did find amusing was standing in the Post Office and having the person behind the counter get really excited over how much I had saved using the flat rate boxes.  Which means I shipped a lot of stuff… just nothing from Hawaii.
