As a classroom teacher the week before any break can almost seem a waste of time. The idea of “visions of sugar plums danced in their heads” takes on a whole new meaning in the classroom.  It seems like you have to pry the students off the ceiling to get anything accomplished.  That said my class did actually get some things done this week, but I would love to see what their output would have been any other week.  By now they are all heading off to where ever they head over the non-denominational winter holiday time.  Now I finally have some time to get ready for Christmas… wait?!? It’s next week? Time to get busy.
