Yes, Cecil does travel with me to Comic Conventions (and pretty much everywhere).  I think it is less creepy coming up to someone in spandex and ask “Can I get a picture of you with my monkey?” then “Would you pose for my blog?”  At least it gets a chuckle with the weird looks.
