Yes, such a hat does exist… The pattern is called “Dead Fish Hat” and Sue did knit one for me, finishing it while we were on vacation.  It did receive complements at the the yarn shops we visited in Asheville, NC along with strange looks almost anywhere else.  While you might think I don’t like it- I actually do- it is definitely a unique piece of headwear.

Yes, such a hat does exist...
