Yes the rules & guidelines in geocaching have been set up to make the experience fun for everyone.  If all you want to do is hang out in a parking lot, there are caches for you.  If You want to ford mighty rivers, climb tall mountains and get eaten alive by bugs, there is a cache for you.  Sometimes they make no sense, but like many laws we live with they are there for a reason… too bad the curmudgeon wanted to twist them to his own ends (that’s Cecil’s job).
