SO with school out and I’m slowly trying to get a routine together I decided (since I’m paying for it anyway) to go back and play Star Trek Online.  I once spent some time trying to figure out Second Life and thought that maybe a game would be more interesting (I’m a geek and therefore can be antisocial). I have also tried other MMORPGs specifically World of Warcraft and at one point and felt overwhelmed.  When my computer needed more hard drive space I decided that was a good time to leave.  I guess while it is fun to have a group of online friends to help you out on some adventures I realize quickly that I’m not that good, or that I have more things going on and can’t devote the time (watch The Guild to gain a better understanding).  Amazingly enough Star Trek came out and my school district game me a Windows laptop to use as webmaster so I decided to try it again this time with Star Trek, a universe I had some knowledge of.  I played for a while, then the school needed the laptop for something and I was cut off for months.  Now I’m back and have decided to do this logically… I deleted my old character and am starting clean.  Unfortunately, the program needed to update so patches needed to be downloaded… We’ll see how long it will be before I give up again, it does give me something to do while Sue is harvesting crops!  I do find it funny that it seems that once I start a mission, Sue is finished with her Farmville stuff and wants to go out to eat…

Patches? We don’t need no stinkin’ patches!
