Yes, MINI Takes the States for 2012 (the biannual MINIUSA super event) has been announced.  The dates have been set & information has been leaked. It looks as if it will be a cross country road trip heading east to west.  Starting points and the route are still up in the air.  The funny part is when people first started making guesses I posted in one forum that it would be the first two weeks of July.  My reasoning was simple- it was the only time the entire summer I had something on my calendar. So yes, San Diego Comic-Con is the same weekend as the End of MINI Takes The States and will probably be in the same state.  I just hope that the planners aren’t thinking about ending it in San Diego… the hotels are already booked.

As for my plans… I’ll be driving cross country with my MINI friends- caching every chance I get.  It is just when I have wanted it right in the middle of my Summer (thank you MINIUSA) What about Comic-Con?  They changed their dates this year and there will be another one in 2013- unless the Mayans were right.
