I kind of feel like I’m doing to Mongo what DC Comics did to Bart Allen after making him the Flash-  let’s get rid of him after so many issues.  Then again that wasn’t my initial idea when I started this arc.  I’m letting the characters determine the direction of the story- hopefully it won’t turn out like “Lost” in the second (or was that third?) season before they sat down and actually plotted out an end.  Stay reading- I do have an end in mind- it just might not be what you are expecting.  Don’t ask Sue for any spoilers-  she has strictly forbad me from telling her what is going to happen.  Her only request was to get rid of the “Census Twins.”

  1. It’s the second season you’re thinking of. The third season is the best so far. If you want his comic to be more like the flash, you have to get rid of Mongo and have him replaced by Cecil. Then 20 years later, have Cecil dissapeer for a few weeks so that he can be replaced by his nephew. At which point you would have to kill off Cecil’s nephew so that you can bring Cecil back without confusing people. THEN; have mongo come back through a time-space thingy so that he can team up with Cecil and fight crime…. Oh! And have cecil’s nephew come back as a black lantern!

  2. Confused? Don’t worry it will all be cleared up in “Penultimate Secret Crisis War” (the comic that will change the face of the comics universe forever – or at least until we can come up with a better idea) coming out this summer after “Brightest Day” which starts after “Blackest Night” issue 8 on sale now at a comic book store near you.
