I have said this before, but when I go to a convention be that games, or comics I enjoy the fact that I don’t stand out. It is nice to be able to drop an off-hand comment or quote from some obscure science fiction story and have someone smile knowingly. I may not understand what everyone is saying or really get what they seem so passionate about, but it is nice that there are places where people can embrace their geekiness and not suffer for it.
As for last week I do apologize… as the school year starts it sometimes can be difficult to get everything finished. Last week was one of those weeks, with Back to School Night and feeling like something Hemi dragged in on Monday it was not the best weeks. Except for Moonshine.
Yes, this week was the fifth annual geocaching run to Moonshine, Illinois for lunch. A great way to spend Saturday. I do hope everyone has a wonderful Labor Day.
