No not really.  As a public school teacher I work with kids every day who need help understanding just the process of learning.  They are kids… the question I have always had is with people who use a disability as an excuse.  When do the excuses stop?  When should someone stop expecting things to altered so they can succeed?  I’ve always wondered what would happen if an adult went to their boss and said something like “The Johnson report?  Oh, well I have ADHD, so even though you said it you needed it today, I have always been given extended time to complete things, so how about next Monday?”  Are we helping kids to succeed or setting them up for failure later in life, just wonderin’
