Yes, there are many wondrous things available at a comic convention, although the number of booths selling corsets recently has alarmed me.  Basically, you got a few typical groups- those selling t-shirts, those selling action figures & toys, those selling posters, those selling original art or crafts, those selling swords or “display” weapons, 7 if you are lucky you might find someone selling comics.
