It is somewhat embarrassing spending a few moments suspended in mid air like some Warner Brothers cartoon, wishing you had a little sign to pull out of your pocket that said “Yipes!”  Yes it hurt, but thats what over the counter painkillers are for, and fortunately for me I had some with me (Be Prepared… that’s the Boy Scouts marching song).

For those who don’t remember the incident at Viking Rock on Maui, it was amusing for some and made it into this comic strip- check out sometime in August of 2009.  Now any geocacher I know who goes to Maui visits the site, finds the cache, and sends me a picture… like I said it was amusing for some people.

I am sorry that this comic is appearing in the original black & white right now I will color it as time permits.  I am presently visiting with 1100 of my closest friends at the 10th Annual MINIs on the Dragon.  I’ll try to post something with some pictures because this is what I am considering the start of “Penfold’s Farewell Tour”  a cross country epic journey (once school gets out.
